My full name is Taylor Lynn Welniak and as of right now I am 21 years of age. I am painfully self-aware and I realize that not many students choose to pair Biological Sciences and Editing, Writing, and Media. An even smaller portion choose to opt out of clear cut paths, such as taking the MCAT as a back up plan to work for a hospital or sell their soul to work as a staff scientist for a large corporation to prevent hefty OSHA fines. And it is truly a shot in the dark to find graduate programs that cater to this niche (trust me, I am trying). However, I realized that life is much more rewarding when you follow your gut and ever since I finished my first semester at Florida State University, I knew this passion is something I desperately needed to pursue.
